Abundance is our birthright in this life, but don’t kill yourself chasing the dollar! Your real “currency” is the energy that flows from within you. Thus happiness and abundance is found within as well. Money itself is not the root of all evil or the problem, it’s people’s attitude towards it. Your money should act as a talisman, or a tool of solidified energy that is exchanged for goods and services, not as a measurement of success or happiness.
Those who are motivated only by money run the rat race in life that usually ends with their own demise without ever achieving the lasting happiness and abundance they were looking for all that time. As I wrote before, I started receiving more when I started expecting less and that is because I realized all that I need is within me. Don’t kill yourself trying to make a living, just live!
One of the sayings of Christ amongst the Sufis is “Whoever seeks the world is like one who drinks seawater. The more he drinks, the more his thirst increases, until it kills him.” You’ll never get enough if you make the material your pursuit in life. Look for your kingdom within.
