Spirituality and ascension (which is often the goal of spiritual systems) shouldn’t be used as a way of escapism. Yes we understand that the physical universe is “illusionary” but it’s only illusionary in the sense that it’s an imperfect and unbalanced expression of what was originally a perfect thought. It is still a very real thing in the sense of what we understand as reality.
Spirituality then should be used to fully understand and master this reality, to master being in the present. Your metaphysics should be manifesting you results or it’s just fantasy, pseudoscience, or superstition. Modern day science came out of the Occult, so there should be no discrepancies.
