Most won’t dare go against the grain in life out of fear of being shamed or punished by the masses. They live their lives allowing their Will to be made subjugated by the opinions of others.
The magician, the shaman, the witch, the follower of the Left Hand Path finds his or her liberation in the breaking of these societal expectations and constructs. This is not done through or as immoral behavior, rather this is done through the expression of True Will. When we show compassion, cooperate, or communicate, it’s done so out of a real desire to do so, not because the Collective expects it from us. A free being has the right to love and exchange as much or less as they desire with whomever they desire.
This is in contrast to society where people are often forced into being compassionate, cooperating, or communicating out of fear of shame or punishment. An example can be the collection plate at church. People are often shamed into giving the last bit they have because they think through this seemingly compassionate act, they’ll receive god’s reward….or his punishment if they don’t. The Right Hand Path oftentimes seems obsessed with operating on a reward/punishment system. This goes all the way back to Eden if you’ve read my earlier articles. The higher morality comes from following your True Will, not being obedient to the Will of the Collective. And thus, you find your joy.
